WHO IS CAÑI?

Born and raised in Granada, Spain, Dolores Cañizares Collado moved to the US in 1967. During her teens and twenties in Spain, she tailored custom garments for Vogue fashion shows. Dolores has worked extensively with stained glass, oil painting, and watercolor. But she truly found her niche in jewelry-making. She now works with gold, sterling silver, copper, and argentium to create unique settings for semi-precious stones. Her settings often takeon a life of their own through the use of organic materials such as salt and pine-needles.
